Radio Show "Living on Purpose with Carolyn Romano" debuts Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 10 pm

Well, I guess you just never know how life is going to unfold. A couple of weeks ago, I was walking into my office to get a day of grantwriting and consulting underway, when I had the somewhat (or so I thought) random thought, "Gee, wouldn't it be cool to have your own radio show? I wonder how that happens."

Apparently, right now in my world, all I had to do was think about it and voila!  A few hours later on that same Thursday, I received a call from Deborah Beauvais, founder and director of the Dreamvisions 7 Radio Network, dreamvisions7radio.com. Deborah reported that she had come across my Bliss Healing Arts website, just knew she had to be in touch after reading about my work (I'm flattered!), and did I want to host my own show?  Um, let's see, yes? I mean, Yes! Sure! Why not?

Wow, "Careful what you wish for" was the next not-so-random thought that flitted across my mind.

As a result of this convergence of forces I don't quite understand and couldn't say no to (could you have?), the last two weeks have been a flurry of learning radio lingo; writing intros, outros, and promos; picking background music and radio voices; and looking for sponsors -- while intending to stay more excited than terrified through the process.

And so in seven days, should you tune in, you will first hear smooth jazz playing and then "Bill V" from voice4radio.com exclaiming in his best radio voice:

The show airs on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at 10 pm then every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 7 pm on AM 1510 Revolution Boston, a 50,000-watt station that reaches listeners in five states.
