About Bliss Healing Arts

“I am willing. Lead me.”

In the fall of 2004, I opened BLISS Healing Arts after about a decade of doing healing work both formally and informally with individuals and groups while still maintaining a more separate career as an educational consultant and grantwriter.  Now, fourteen years later, it is time for a new vision and a new look. Time to integrate all aspects of my being and work and to offer it more broadly to the public.

Many blessings have been bestowed on me these last several years – abundance, joy, peace, health, friendship, relationship to name just a few. I am grateful. Challenges have also been present on the path – the death of family members and close friends, loss of important relationships, ending of work opportunities, new health challenges, and a chronic illness.  I am not alone in either the abundance of blessings or challenges that have been placed on my path; you, too, have your share of each, I know.

What has remained throughout both types of experiences, however, is my belief that Spirit and the Universe continue to support me, to communicate with me, to ask of me.  So it is with this in mind and heart that I continue to commit myself to service, to the work I feel called to do wherever I am called to do it.

When I first launched BLISS and this website, I spoke to you about the mantra I used to help me through all sorts of difficulties and offered it to you for your use as well.  It was “I am willing.  I am willing.  I am willing.”  In 2010 and for several years thereafter, the mantra was amended to “I am willing. Help me trust.  I am willing. Help me trust.”

Now in 2018, it has changed once again, and I offer for your consideration, "I am willing. Lead me."

While grace, ease, and abundance are available to us always, perceived obstacles and limitations often keep us from experiencing them fully. Varying degrees of tragedy in our lives and on the planet may make us question the point of it all.  I say to you, seek joy and love and right action in all that you do for Spirit, for self, and for others.  Seek to balance, to live in the center of your life so that no matter what is happening around you, you can respond from a place of peace and strength. Allow your life to unfold. Let go of the resistance. Get into the silence and listen to what it is trying to tell you. And finally, be willing, trust, and allow a force greater than you to guide.

As always, I wish you moments of grace descending,

Carolyn
